In order to promote the material recycling of wasted tire rubbers , grinding of rubber/plastics was tried by using Solid-State Shear Extruction. Then the powder was molded into sheet. SEM observation , thermal analysis and mechanical testing of the sheet was studied. It was suggested if the melting points of binding plastics was over 200C , thermal decomposition of the rubber was caused at the process of pelletizing. It was also suggested if the plastics had the toughness in some degree, the rubber could not grinded down under 100µm in diameter. Basing on these processing conditions, long sheet of 8m in length was molded experimentally.
