Polyethylene oxide with molecular weight about 4 0000000 is doped with
Lithium perchlorate to prepare a solid polymer electrolyte (SPE) for use
in solid electrolyte lithium batteries. Ethylene carbonate and propylene carbonate
in equal weight percent have been used as a couple palsticizer in the electrolyte system.
Effects of mixing time and palsticizer and lithium perchlorate contents on conductivity
of produced SPE have been studied. Structure of different samples of SPEs has been
studied with FTIR. Electrical conductivity measurements showed that for samples with
about 10 weight percent of lithium perchlorate and 80 percent of palsticizer the best conductivity
in different temperatures could be obtained. Some different batteries are fabricated with produced
SPE and their voltages and life times have been measured in different conditions
