Polyurethane Quasi-prepolymers with adjusted reactivity have been used for Years in the production of the precursor canned pressurised mixture for One Component Foam (OCF). Isocyanate terminated prepolymer solutions are often used for the production of coated textiles, industrial varnishes, and one-component adhesives for flexible substrates.

In all these processes the reactivity, and the stability have to be carefully adjusted to assure a long shelf life, usually longer than 6 month, but on the other hand a rather short reaction time, once the triggering occurs.

Polyurethane-urea films were produced by different methods and the resulting permeability were evaluated for correlation with macromolecular structure and production process.
