The application of carbon nanotubes in a polymer matrix is one of the most extremely interesting research fields in the recent years Because of the multifunctional properties of the carbon nanotubes. In addition to their application in a single polymer matrix, carbon nanotubes have also been introduced into polymer blends and many fascinating discoveries have been observed. Enhancement desire morphology of immiscible blends such as PE/PA6 with compatibilizers and fillers such as CNTs can prepared an excellent blends with various applications. Using CNTs result in better thermal conductivity and better mechanical properties. In this work, The effects of two different feeding orders and CNT contents on the microstructure development and rheology- microstructure relationship of PE/PA6/CNT nanocomposite were investigated by RMS, Tensile, DSC,FESEM, Shape Memory property. The results indicate that Compatibility of immiscible PE/PA6 blend improve by introducing the malleated polyethylene as a compatibilizer and CNTs. The results of the Rheological measurements and FESEM images were shown that the size of PA6 particles in the PE/PA6/CNTs increased by adding CNTs. The FESEM images were indicated that the localization of CNTs have affected the compatibility and morphological properties of the PE/PA6/CNTs. Moreover, the shape memory results were verified by rheological measurements and electron microscopy images. Moreover, The rheological and Fesem results indicates that the localization of CNTs dramatically influenced by mixing protocols.
