This presentation covers select scientific achievements of Prof. Therriault’s team mainly on the design of novel multifunctional composites and their advanced additive manufacturing. The main topics explained are the manufacturing of high-performance composites (e.g., high stiffness, piezoelectric, electrically conductive) and their characterization, the development of advanced manufacturing techniques (e.g., UV-assisted 3D printing, solvent-cast 3D printing) and the recent advances in multimaterial and 6-axis robotic additive manufacturing.
