Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) is a widely engineering material used in the industry, especially in the interconnection of data communication and telecommunication networks. Component creep damage which result in signal deterioration become critical issue particularly in the area of 5G deployments. Here we experimentally study temperature dependent material constants used in uniaxial creep model and verify them with finite element model. A matlab problem is also used as second tool to verify the feasibility of selected material constants during our experimental work. The results indicated that creep material constants could highly related to applied loadings. It is suggested that creep power law can still be applied in creep damage predication with limitation of pre-defined stress range.
