Abstract. Carbon nanotube (CNT) is a carbon allotrope filler with good thermal and electrical properties and is widely applied in various fields. CNT/polymer composites are known to have limitations in application due to low dispersibility at high CNT contents. In this study, a composite material was developed through melt blending of CNT and Nylon12, and a composite film was manufactured using hot-pressing method. In order to improve the dispersibility and physical properties, a comparative analysis study was conducted with a composite material developed and applied with modified CNT. The cross section and the surface of the film were observed with a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) to check for uniform mixing, and a Universal Test Machine (UTM) and Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) was measured to measure the mechanical and the thermal properties. And to verify the electrical conductivity, the sheet resistance was measured using noncontact-type conductometer, Eddycus (SARAGUS).
