Warp optimization of plastic part by numerical simulation.

In the process of plastic injection some shrinking and residual stress can be seen in the solidifying polimer because of temperature differences, polimers orientation , plastic part geometry and gate location while plastic part filling happens. That residual stress(warp) and shrinking effect the dimention of the plastic part geometry and the assembly with the other parts. In this research, plastic part warp optimization will be the main topic to be worked by using computer-aided engineering program Autodesk Mold Flow insight. In this work, the dimention optimization will be evaluated with method of design of experiment in gate location, mold and melt temperature, mold cooling and part geometry.
