Fiber-reinforced plastics (FRP) has been applied to various fields such as wind power generation and automotive and aerospace industries due to their unique properties such as light weight, high specific strength, and high specific rigidity. However, general molding process such as autoclave molding with prepreg and RTM have some problems such as waste based on intermediate materials, quality degradation by hand process, long curing process with oven, and strength loss of FRP by the presence of loose fiber in FRP. In order to solve these problems, we developed the novel innovative molding method of FRP capable of being directly molded on open mold, ''Fiber to Composite (FtoC) Molding'' process. In this paper, we report the process of FtoC Molding and the property of FRP produced by FtoC Molding.
