Generally the fabrication of complex shape of natural fibre reinforced polymer composites were prepared via the combination of extrusion compounding and injection moulding processes. This study is focused on the directly fabrication of natural fibre composite by using the direct fibre feeding injection moulding process which was adapted from the vented-barrel injection moulding machine. This process has benefit especially for natural fibre that has passed high temperature only single cycle during moulding to avoid the degradation of natural fibre. The jute fibre was used as reinforcement for polypropylene matrix. The effect of moisture on the processing ability were examined. In addition the effect of using of shellac as natural ingredients for coating on jute fibre were also evaluated.
