Aisin Tohoku Co., Ltd. is a company established in Kanegasaki Town, Iwate Prefecture in August 1992 as a member of the AISIN Group, a comprehensive automobile parts manufacturer supporting the world automobile industry. Main production parts include engine parts that contribute to improvement of engine performance such as improvement of fuel consumption such as surge tank and rotary valve and clean exhaust gas, transfer system actuator etc. The first time I met a vent cylinder was at IPF Japan 2011. As a facility that can be molded without drying, we expected the energy saving effect and introduced the vent cylinder as soon as possible. Considering the reason why it is an old technology and expected to have excellent effect but not considering the cause not being penetrated, considering countermeasures, and today we are making mass production using a vent cylinder. Although initially focusing on energy conservation, it was noticed that there are various advantages due to gas reduction when it is operated. In this report, we describe the risk management to introduce the vent cylinder and the effect obtained after introduction.
