In recent years, the development of self-healing materials has drawn more and more attention. This new type of smart material capable of self-healing and healing will bring greater convenience to human life. In this study, we attempted to prepare self-healing hydrogels by electrostatic interaction. The first part was prepared by polymerizing two kinds of monomers, namely, positively charged sodium acrylate and negatively charged ethyl methacrylate quaternary ammonium salt, Glue, by adjusting the composition and ratio to observe the effect of self-healing effect, and through the measurement of mechanical strength, calculate the efficiency of self-healing. The results show that the electrostatic effect can really bring certain self-healing effect of hydrogel, but has not yet fully restored to its original state; and with the addition of more cross-linking agent, self-healing effect will be significantly reduced. The second part prepares self-healing hydrogels by polymerizing zwitterionic monomers and utilizing the same electrostatic force between molecules. The results show that the product also has the ability to self-healing.
