We discuss the effect of polypropylene (PP) and recycle polypropylene (rPP) on the mechanical properties of PP/rPP composites prepared using filler mixture of silane at 0, 1, 3 and 5 phr using by twin screw extruder. The weights of the polymer are PP and rPP. Which the parallel was used the 100:0, 80:20, 50:50, 20:80 and 0:100 ratio. The Young’s modulus and tensile strength of PP/rPP composite overall increases with PP ratio in each case. However, the enhancement of Young’s modulus and tensile strength in PP/rPP at silane content is little. The hardness of PP/rPP is increased in the ratio of (80:20) composite with silane content at 5 phr of PP matrix. According to Morphology investigation of PP/rPP blends in various fraction, found that similar fracture surface on PP/rPP blends. However, adding Silane coupling agent effected to morphology and related to mechanical properties. Keywords: Polypropylene, Mechanical properties, Morphology, Silane.
