Preparation of Modified Highly Dispersible Silica (ULTRASILⓇ 7000 GR) with TDI and PTMEG

Hydrophilic surfaces of silica were chemically modified with toluene-2,4-diisocyanate (TDI) into isocyanated SiO2, and followed by reaction with ether glycol or diol. The each reaction step was varified by FTIR. The spectroscopic data obtained will be discussed in this study.
