In this work, PP homopolymer was reprocessed through injection molding up to 6 processing cycles. The effects of reprocessing on the mechanical properties were analyzed by flexural, impact and fatigue tests. Significant differences in mechanical properties were assessed by analysis of variance (ANOVA). Thermal characterization was performed by differential scanning calorimetry tests (DSC). Melt flow index (MFI) tests was also performed. From the fourth processing cycle, MFI index increased with increasing processing cycles, indicating a possible reduction in PP molar mass. The percentage of crystallinity of PP increased and flexural strength and modulus decreased with increasing processing cycles. The impact strength value showed a decrease in the second processing cycle and did not showed significant differences with increasing of processing cycles.
